How to train your demons (Installation)

A quadriptych video piece created for an installation about the inward descent towards locating your inner demon, your inner child, your inner wounds all compressed and materialized into one fuzzy small being that, like the mirror it is, wears your face. Realizing your demons, like a child, needs to be cared for, to be held, nurtured, to feel loved, to be taught a new language and then with a kiss, set free. To neglect your demon, your child, you neglect yourself. To not run from, but to run towards.

for the installation of this quadriptych piece, i designed 4 large wooden structures, covered in fur, to house 4 monitors. Each screen representing a different moment/journey towards experiencing your "demon":

a sonic element from each screen fills the space, paired with a large milky projection

projected over the the surface of structures during opening night.
